YOUR AGREEMENT WITH ALUMNI TRAVEL NETWORK

TRIP INFORMATION
Please check your information enter upon receipt and verify all information is correct. Alumni Travel Network will not be responsible for omissions or errors if not brought action immediately. Payment must be received by the due date to avoid vendor cancellation.
Alumni Travel Network acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”). Alumni Travel Network is not responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, omission or irregularity which may occur or be occasioned, whether by reason of any act, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in or responsible for carrying out any of the arrangements, or otherwise in connection therewith.
PAYMENTS:
All payments are non refundable. Name changes are permitted on a case by case basis and are at the discretion of Alumni Travel Network. For any questions regarding room types or payment please contact us directly.
Please be advised that this is an all inclusive resort and rates are based room occupancy. No more than the registered number of guests will be permitted to enter the hotel property or stay in the hotel. Only guests of Alumni Travel Network activities will be provided bands/tickets for all activities and those participating will required to wear them for entry.
LIABILITIES:
Alumni Travel Network assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under Alumni Travel Network’s control. You hereby release Alumni Travel Network from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.
Alumni Travel Network is not responsible for my safety and I knowingly and voluntarily agree to assume any and all risks associated with participation in the above-described travel opportunity (The Program). I also acknowledge that my participation in the Program is optional and that my participation would not have been permitted without this waiver and release.
I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Alumni Travel Network for any and all losses, expenses, claims, judgments and liabilities (including attorneys’ fees) of any nature arising out of, or in consequence of, my acts, words, conduct, etc. in connection with the Program including, but not limited to, damage to property, any injuries or death sustained by any person(s) as a result of my actions or inactivity.
I understand and acknowledge that the Alumni Travel Network is not providing personal chaperones or supervision with respect to the Program, and that I am responsible for my individual conduct, health and safety at all times.
I am in good health, have no physical conditions that affect my ability to travel and/or participate in any of the activities involved in the Program, and have not been advised otherwise by a medical practitioner. In this regard, I have completed the Medical Clearance and Emergency Contact Form before my arrival. Alumni Travel is in no way responsible for any accident or health costs or medical care.
I grant to the Alumni Travel Network full authority to take whatever action it deems is warranted under the circumstances regarding my health or safety in connection with my participation in this Program, including the provision of any emergency first aid, medication, medical treatment, or surgery deemed necessary by medical personnel. This authority will permit the Alumni Travel Network, at its discretion, to place me, at my own expense, in a local hospital for medical services and treatment, or, if no hospital is available, to place me in the hand of a local medical doctor for treatment. Alumni Travel Network is further authorized to fly me back home, at my own (or my parents’) expense, for medical treatment if, in consultation with local medical authorities, this is deemed to be necessary. I also authorize medical personnel to execute any documents relating to medical attention and to act on my behalf, if I am unable to do so.
I agree that at all times I will follow the directions of Alumni Travel Network personnel accompanying the Program in all matters related to my participation in the Program. Alumni Travel Network reserves the right to suspend or terminate my participation in the Program if it be deemed that my acts, words or conduct are detrimental to, or incompatible with, the interests, purpose or welfare of the Program or Hotel. This suspension or termination will in no way entitle me to a refund for any unused portion of the cost of the Program.
Event and Activities Release and Waiver: I understand that the Releasees may partner with third-party vendors, promoters, or organizers during the Alumni Travel Network event. I understand that these third-party entertainment, recreational or sporting events are solely for my voluntary recreation and enjoyment. I further understand that I am not required to participate in any third-party entertainment, recreational or sporting event. Should I choose to participate in any third-party entertainment, recreational or sporting event, I do so of my own free and voluntary will. I understand that the Releasees make no representations or promises to me as to the safety or security of any third-party entertainment, recreational or sporting event. I understand that participation in entertainment, recreation, sporting and physical activities can involve certain risks of injuries and illness, and that facilities or equipment provided for my protection may be inadequate to prevent serious injury. I further understand that some third-party activities may take place outdoors and therefore include risks associated with exposure to elements, excessive heat, hypothermia, impact of the body upon the water, injection of water into my body orifices, encountering objects either natural or man-made, exposure to animals, my own negligence and/or the negligence of others, including but not limited to operator error and guide decision making including misjudging terrain, rapids, weather, trails, and route location, attack by or encounter with insects, reptiles, and/or animals, accidents or illness occurring in remote places where there are no available medical failures, fatigue, chill, and/or dizziness, which may diminish my/our reaction time and increase the risk of accident. I understand the foregoing description of these risks is not complete or exhaustive and that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, illness, or death. I acknowledge that the Releasees are not responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any third party or entity conducting a specific recreational or sporting activity during the Alumni Travel Network event. I am voluntarily participating in this activity with appreciation of the danger involved and hereby agree to accept any and all risks (both known and unknown) of property damage, personal injury, or death.
Promotional Release: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Alumni Travel Network event, I grant Alumni Travel Network, its parent subsidiaries, related and affiliated entities, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, employees, agents, successors and assigns, the irrevocable right and permission to photograph and/or record me in connection with the Alumni Travel Network event and to use the photograph and/or recording for all purposes, including advertising and promotional purposes, in any manner in any and all media now or hereafter known, in perpetuity throughout the world, without restriction as to alteration. I waive any right to inspect or approve the use of any photograph and/or recording, and acknowledge and agree that the rights granted to this release are without compensation of any kind. All photographs and/or recordings are exclusive to Alumni Travel Network.
CONDITIONS:
Alumni Travel Network has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, Alumni Travel Network recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Alumni Travel Network recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release Alumni Travel Network from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in the United States will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or Alumni Travel Network, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
DOCUMENTATION:
U.S. citizens travelling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at http://travel.state.gov for further information.
I am 18 years or older. I understand the legal consequences of signing this document, including (a) releasing the Releasees from all liability, (b) promising not to sue the Releasees, (c) and assuming all risks of participating in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Alumni Travel Network event. I understand that I may electronically make full payment to participate in the Alumni Travel Network event through the website. My full payment shall serve as my electronic signature that I have received, read, and agreed to the terms of the foregoing Release.
